Free to Roam ("FTR", "we", "us") is a cross-border advisory firm that coordinates international structuring, banking, and residency services for internationally mobile professionals.

2. What this policy covers
This policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, how we use and share it, how long we keep it, and what rights you have in relation to it. It applies to the ftr.finance website, our consultation booking process, our email and messaging communications with prospects and clients, and our ongoing engagements.
3. Information we collect
We collect the following categories of personal data:
Information you provide directly:
- Name and email address (when you book a consultation, use our contact form, or correspond with us)
- WhatsApp number (if you choose to share it)
- Information about your situation that you share with us — including but not limited to nationality, current country of residence, planned destinations, professional background, business interests, and the nature of your enquiry
- Any other information you choose to share during consultations, calls, or written communications
Information collected automatically when you visit our website:
- Technical data including IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, and referring website
- Usage data including pages visited, time spent on pages, and navigation patterns
- Cookies and similar technologies (see section 9)
Information we receive from third parties:
- Booking information from Google Calendar when you schedule a consultation
- Information from partners and introducers, with your knowledge, when relevant to an engagement
4. How we use your information
We use your personal data for the following purposes:
To respond to your enquiries and provide our services. This includes scheduling and conducting consultations, assessing whether FTR can assist with your situation, preparing engagement proposals, and coordinating with licensed partners on your behalf if you become a client.
To communicate with you about your engagement. Including responding to messages, providing updates on coordinated work, sending engagement-related documents, and conducting ongoing service reviews.
To meet our legal and regulatory obligations. Including identity verification (Know Your Customer / KYC), anti-money-laundering screening, sanctions screening, and record-keeping required under applicable law.
To improve our website and services. Including analysing how visitors use our website, understanding which content is useful, and identifying technical issues.
To send you information you have requested. Such as articles, market updates, or other content where you have opted in to receive them.
5. Lawful basis for processing (GDPR)
If you are in the European Union, United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction with similar laws, we rely on the following lawful bases for processing your personal data:
Legitimate interests. We process most prospect and client data on the basis of our legitimate interests in operating our business, communicating with people who have contacted us, and providing the services we have been engaged to provide. Where we rely on legitimate interests, we have assessed that our interests are not overridden by your rights and freedoms.
Performance of a contract. Where we have entered into an engagement with you, we process your data as necessary to perform that contract.
Legal obligation. We process certain data (particularly identity and onboarding information) to comply with anti-money-laundering, counter-terrorism financing, sanctions, and similar legal obligations.
Consent. Where required by law, or for processing that does not fall within the above bases (for example, marketing communications), we rely on your consent. You can withdraw consent at any time by contacting us.
6. Who we share your information with
We share your personal data only when necessary and only with the following categories of recipients:
Licensed partner firms. When you engage FTR, we coordinate the regulated work through licensed legal, accounting, banking, immigration, and trust specialists in the relevant jurisdiction. We share with each partner only the data they need for the specific work they perform, and partners are bound by professional confidentiality obligations.
Service providers. We use the following third-party services to operate our business:
- Google Workspace (Google LLC) — email, calendar, file storage, form processing
- Squarespace (Squarespace Inc.) — website hosting and contact form storage
- WhatsApp / Meta Platforms — if you choose to communicate with us via WhatsApp
Each of these providers has its own privacy practices and data security commitments.
Regulatory and legal recipients. Where required by law, we may share data with regulators, law enforcement, courts, or other authorities. We may also share data with our professional advisors (including legal counsel and auditors) under appropriate confidentiality arrangements.
With your consent. Where you have asked or agreed for us to share information with specific third parties, such as introducers, referrers, or other advisors.
We do not sell your personal data. We do not share your data for third-party marketing purposes.
7. International transfers
FTR operates from Latin America and works with partners across multiple jurisdictions. This means your personal data may be transferred to, stored in, or accessed from countries outside your country of residence — including but not limited to Panama, Colombia, the United States (via Google Workspace and Squarespace), the United Kingdom, the European Union, the United Arab Emirates, Singapore, Hong Kong, the Cayman Islands, the British Virgin Islands, and Jersey.
Where personal data is transferred outside the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we put in place appropriate safeguards consistent with applicable law, which may include:
- Transfers to countries the European Commission or UK government has determined provide an adequate level of data protection;
- Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission or UK Information Commissioner's Office;
- Where applicable, transfers based on your explicit consent or because the transfer is necessary for the performance of a contract with you.

8. How long we keep your data
We keep your personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, including any legal, regulatory, or accounting requirements.
Prospect enquiries that do not lead to engagement: typically retained for up to 24 months from your last contact with us, then deleted unless a longer retention is required (for example, where we have an ongoing reason to expect you may return).
Client engagement records: retained for the duration of the engagement and for the period required by applicable law afterwards. In many jurisdictions, anti-money-laundering and tax law requires retention of identity verification and engagement records for at least five to seven years after the engagement ends.
Marketing communication records: retained until you opt out, and then for a limited period afterwards to evidence your withdrawal of consent.
Website analytics and technical data: retained for shorter periods, typically up to 14 months.
When data is no longer needed, we either securely delete it or anonymise it so that it can no longer be associated with you.
9. Cookies
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to operate the site and understand how visitors use it. Cookies fall into the following categories:
Strictly necessary cookies — required for the website to function (for example, to remember form input or maintain session state). These cannot be disabled.
Functional cookies — remember choices you have made, such as language preferences.

- Right to lodge a complaint — with the data protection authority in your country.

In Colombia, the supervisory authority is the Superintendencia de Industria y Comercio (SIC). In the European Union, it is the data protection authority in your country of residence. In the United Kingdom, it is the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
11. Security
We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, loss, alteration, or destruction. This includes encrypted communications, access controls, vetted service providers, and confidentiality obligations on everyone who handles client data.
No system is entirely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a data breach occurs that is likely to affect your rights, we will notify you and the relevant supervisory authority as required by law.
12. Children
Our services are not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated version on this page and update the "Last updated" date at the top. Significant changes that materially affect your rights will be notified to you directly where we have your contact details.

These Terms of Use govern your use of the website at ftr.finance (the "Site"), operated by Suerte Capital LATAM S.A. ("Free to Roam", "FTR", "we", "us").
By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
These terms apply only to your use of the Site. If you become a client of Free to Roam, our services to you will be governed by a separate engagement letter and any related agreements signed at that time. Nothing on the Site, and nothing in these Terms of Use, creates a client relationship, an engagement, or an offer to provide services.
2. What FTR does and doesn't do
Free to Roam is a cross-border advisory firm that coordinates international structuring, banking, residency, and related services. FTR does not itself provide regulated legal, tax, accounting, banking, immigration, or financial advice. The regulated work is performed by independent, licensed partners in the relevant jurisdiction.
Information on the Site — including articles, descriptions of services, illustrations of how structures work, examples of jurisdictions, and references to specific products or programmes — is general in nature, may not be current, does not take account of your individual circumstances, and is not advice of any kind. You should not act, or refrain from acting, on the basis of anything on the Site without first obtaining appropriate professional advice for your situation.
3. Eligibility and restrictions
FTR is not currently available to US citizens or US tax residents. The Site is intended for prospective clients who are not US persons and who are interested in legitimate cross-border structuring within applicable law.
You may not use the Site:
- For any unlawful purpose, including any purpose that would violate applicable export controls, sanctions, or anti-money-laundering laws;
- To attempt to evade tax obligations you legitimately owe in any jurisdiction;
- To submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information through any form on the Site;
- To engage in automated scraping, harvesting, crawling, or similar activity, except by search engines whose crawlers behave within standard conventions;
- To attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Site, any related systems, or any other user's data;
- To transmit any virus, worm, malware, or other harmful code through the Site.
4. Intellectual property
All content on the Site — including text, design, graphics, illustrations, logos, photographs, layout, and branding — is owned by or licensed to Free to Roam and is protected by copyright, trade mark, and other intellectual property laws.
You may view the Site for your own personal, non-commercial use. You may share links to specific pages on the Site. You may not reproduce, modify, distribute, republish, or commercially exploit any part of the Site without our prior written permission.
The names "Free to Roam" and "FTR", together with associated logos and visual identity, are trade marks of FTR. You may not use these marks without our prior written permission.

- The information is accurate and submitted in good faith;
- You have the right to share that information with us;

These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of the Republic of Colombia, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms of Use or your use of the Site will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Medellín, Colombia, except that FTR may, at its discretion, bring proceedings in any other competent jurisdiction.
If any provision of these Terms of Use is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
