About FTR:

One coordinated firm to simplify a complicated kind of life.

Free to Roam (FTR) is a cross-border advisory firm that coordinates the architecture of an international life — tax exit, corporate structure, banking, residency, succession, ongoing compliance — through a curated network of licensed partners in every jurisdiction we operate in.

The regulated work is performed by specialists in each country; we hold the relationship and keep the whole picture coherent.

Built deliberately, for a problem most firms aren’t built for.

Most professional-services firms — accountants, lawyers, bankers, immigration agents — operate inside a single jurisdiction. They're excellent at what they do. But the lives FTR serves don't fit cleanly inside any single jurisdiction, which means clients who try to assemble cross-border structures themselves end up coordinating five providers across three countries, and inheriting the gaps between them.

FTR was built to occupy that gap. We coordinate the moving parts so the structure works as one engagement, not five. The regulated work — legal advice, tax filings, banking onboarding, immigration applications — stays where it should: with licensed specialists in each relevant jurisdiction. What we provide is the architecture, the project management, and the ongoing maintenance that holds the whole structure together over time.

The firm operates from Panama and Colombia (as a subsidiary of Suerte Capital LATAM S.A.), with partners and capability across Panama, the Caymans, Cyprus, the UAE, Singapore, Dominica, Hong Kong, the BVI, Jersey, the United Kingdom, Australia, Colombia, and several other secondary jurisdictions. Our model is deliberately limited in scope — we don't take on US persons in our current phase, and we say no to engagements where the proposed structure can't be built on real substance.

WHAT WE BELIEVE:

Five things that make FTR different from the alternatives.

The offshore and mobile-life advisory market is full of structures that look clever and collapse under scrutiny. We built FTR to be the opposite.

Why we’re different:

Who we are:

A small senior team, a larger licensed network.

The Team:

Free to Roam is led by founders with backgrounds in international migration, cross-border business operations, tax planning, corporate law across English common law jurisdictions, and Latin American legal coordination. We are deliberately small — by design, not by limitation — because the work we do requires senior judgement on every engagement, not handoffs to junior staff.

Out of respect for our clients' confidentiality and the private nature of our industry, we don't publish individual team biographies or photos on the public site. Clients meet the team they'll be working with during the initial consultation, and full credentials are shared at the engagement stage. Our teams includes Australian, British, Chinese, Caribbean, and Latin American staff members.

The Licensed Partner Network:

The regulated work — legal advice, tax filings, banking onboarding, immigration applications, trust and estate work — is performed by licensed professionals in each relevant jurisdiction. Our partners are selected for substance, longevity, and willingness to operate as part of a coordinated team rather than as siloed vendors. The network spans Panama, the Caymans, Cyprus, the UAE, Singapore, Dominica, Hong Kong, the BVI, Jersey, the United Kingdom, Australia, and Colombia.

Partner credentials, licences, and registration details are disclosed at the engagement stage, when the specific specialists relevant to a client's situation are introduced.
